Abstract

Service restoration is one of the most important operations in modern electricity distribution networks. This principle should be done in such a way that after a network fault occurs, the out-of-service areas are restored as soon as possible. One of the factors that can affect the quality of service restoration, especially customers satisfaction and economic costs incurred by electricity utilities, is the location of the maintenance Establishment. In this paper, after presenting a heuristic algorithm for service restoration, the effect of different locations of the maintenance team on the amount of ENS and the switching actions time will be investigated. Then, by examining the different candidate points, the optimal location for the establishment of these teams will be suggested brought to minimize the ENS and switching time values.
