Abstract
Service (load) Restoration (SR) is a crucial component in future distribution networks. In this article, a heuristic bi-stage strategy for SR is proposed. In this heuristic algorithm, a simplification method is used to reduce the problem size and solution time. Also, in order to achieve the optimal solutions, the time of each switching action is estimated and included in the objective function. Final answer of the strategy is the sequence of switching and the destination of the repair team and mobile resources at each step of the restoration process. The proposed method was applied on a standard modified version of IEEE 69-bus network and the results confirmed the effective performance of the proposed heuristic method for implementation in distribution networks.
