چکیده مقاله

This paper comprehensively critiques two promising self-healing tactics: microcapsule-based chemical healing and bacterial-brought on calcium carbonate precipitation. Experimental effects reveal that microencapsulated polyurethane and superabsorbent polymers can efficaciously seal cracks up to 0.3 mm, even as bacterial concrete incorporating Bacillus traces achieves superior crack closure through microbially-mediated mineralization. Non-adverse evaluation strategies, particularly ultrasonic checking out, display promise for monitoring recovery efficiency in area applications. while laboratory effects are encouraging, standardization of trying out protocols and value-powerful manufacturing strategies are had to facilitate commercialization. those self-healing technologies offer the capacity to lessen infrastructure upkeep charges via 30-40% at the same time as appreciably extending carrier existence, in moist environments prone to reinforcement corrosion.
