Abstract

Organic-inorganic hybrid materials are promising for energy storage because of their porous structure and high specific surface area, and using the advantage of both organic and inorganic parts. Here; we investigate the capacitive behavior of Manganese(II)-vanadate(V)/4,4′-bipyridine hybrid as an organic/inorganic hybrid functional material. 4,4′-bipyridine pillars between the MnV2O6 layers. It gives a specific capacitance of 835 Fg-1 at a current density of 1.0 Ag-1 in 1.0 M Na2SO4. Small series and charge transfer resistances obtained by electrochemical impedance analysis, EIS, verifying its good electronic and ionic conductivities. The ionic resistances for transporting sulfate anions inside the porous structure of the prepared hybrid investigated EIS at different potentials.
