Generalised Leibnitz's rule and mappings on von Neumann algebras

Abstract

In this note by assuming a mapping d on a von Neumann algebra M, which satisfies the generalised Leibnitz's rule, we prove that d is real linear and therefore is a real-homogeneous ternary derivation.
