Some Aging Properties of a Repairable Coherent System

Abstract

We consider a repairable system with n independent and identically distributed components which begins to operate at time 0. If the system fails, then it undergoes minimal repair and begins to operate again. We find a general representation of the failure rate of the system based on its components failure rate. The reliability, aging and stochastic properties of the system lifetime are also investigated.
