چکیده مقاله
To investigate the role of various nutritional elements, especially
phosphorus, on the quantitative and qualitative production of saffron
and the relationship between the phosphorus element of corm and leaf
with the size of doughter corms, an experiment was carried out in 2019
in a farm in Neishabor city as a randomized complete block design
with three replications. The amount of leaf phosphorus was taken from
the plots 10 days after foliar spraying, and the amount of leaf
phosphorus was measured at the end of the growth period in June.
Sigma Plot software was used to check the correlation between the
phosphorus content of the corm and the number of small and large
corms and the average corm weight. The results showed that the
phosphorus content of the corm had a negative linear correlation with
the number of small corms (less than 8 grams). However, the
relationship between the number of large corms (more than 8 grams)
and the phosphorus content of corms showed a high correlation and
the relationship was a quadratic equation. As the amount of leaf
phosphorus increases, the number of small corms decreases, and the
number and average weight of daughter corms increases. A direct
negative linear relationship was observed between leaf phosphorus
content and the number of small corms. As the amount of leaf
phosphorus increases, the number of small corms decreases, and the
number and average weight of daughter corms increases. A direct
negative linear relationship was observed between leaf phosphorus
content and the number of small corms. On the other hand, there was
a high correlation between leaf phosphorus and the number of large
corms. It is suggested that farmers should take necessary measures to
provide adequate phosphorus in the soil to produce large corms
