Abstract
Humans have various needs, including physiological needs, the need for security, self-actualization, the need for social relationships, etc. One of the most important needs for human survival is the need to communicate with other people. The necessity and importance of this need cannot be denied; because the way you communicate with others can affect all aspects of human life (work, family, friendship and social life). On the other hand, today, paying attention to the level of improving mental health and preventing mental disorders is included in the agenda of all societies, and governments are trying to ensure the mental health of people in their society in various ways. The present study was conducted with the aim of a review analysis of the effect of communication skill training on people's mental health. The research method in this research is descriptive-analytical and library and document type. In order to collect information about the relevant subject, by searching the available databases (Noormagz, SID Magiran, google scholar Iran Doc, Civilica, etc.), scientific books related to the subject and other scientific sources have been used, and the articles used are related to the time period is the last ten years. The results of this research show that the quality of life and mental health of people at any age, along with other life skills, are also dependent on the communication skills of people, and it is recommended that communication skills training be considered seriously for people in every position.
