Abstract
We consider a control problem containing a small Markov jump process and an
on-off switch. A novel stochastic time-averaging (not a probability-averaging)
technique is presented to calculate an approximate non-stochastic control that
steers the system into a small neighborhood of the target point. We compute the
control’s accuracy and the admissibility of the corresponding probabilities. This
result will be utilized to manage a resonant power converter. The numerical plot
confirms the accuracy of the estimated control outlined in this research.
