Co asymmetrical salen immobilized on the surface of CuFe2O4@NH2- PAMAM: as an efficient magnetic nanocatalyst for synthesis of polyhydroquinoline derivatives

Abstract

In this study, in order to develop the synthesis of modern asymmetric salen complexes, the synthesis of CuFe2O4@NH2-PAMAM@Co-asy-salen nanocomposite was carried out through the synergism of the Co-asymmetrical salen complex with surface-modified CuFe2O4 nanoparticles. The structure of CuFe2O4@NH2-PAMAM@Co-asy-salen nanocatalyst was characterized by various quantitative-qualitative techniques such as VSM, FE-SEM, EDX, TGA/DTG, and TEM. The performance of the synthesized nanocatalyst was investigated in the organic reactions, to this aim we targeted synthesis of hydroquinoline derivatives as important heterocyclic compounds. The obtained results clearly confirmed the remarkable performance of the nanocatalyst.
