Abstract

This research introduces a CoFe2O4@PVA-Mn-Triazole@Cu nanocomposite, designed as a novel heterogeneous bimetallic catalyst that demonstrates remarkable efficiency in facilitating the Heck and Sonogashira reactions. The characterization of the catalyst was studied by FTIR, XRD, FESEM, BET, TGA, EDS and VSM analyses. The catalyst proved to be highly versatile, effectively facilitating the synthesis of Heck and Sonogashira coupling products with good to excellent yields across a broad spectrum of substrates. This versatile nanocatalyst can be easily separated from the reaction mixture using an external magnet and reused for up to seven successive cycles with minimal reduction in catalytic efficiency.
