Abstract
Abstract: In this study, considering the importance of using nanocatalysts in organic reactions, lanthanum ferrite nanoparticles were synthesized using the sol-gel combustion method and the sol-gel method with the root extract of the plant Scorzonera tortosa. The nanoparticles were identified using various techniques including IR, SEM, EDX, XRD, etc. The activity of the catalyst in the quinoline preparation reaction was investigated and products were prepared with high efficiency. The use of green solvents, high yield of production and no formation of by-products are the advantages of this method.
