Alireza Abbasi Gorji has been an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at the University of Birjand since 2025. In 2023, he defended his Ph.D. dissertation entitled “Designing a Business Democracy Model for Iranian Petrochemical Companies” and received his Ph.D. in Business Administration-Business Policy from the University of Guilan. He also holds an M.Sc. in Business Administration-Marketing from Semnan University, where he completed his master’s thesis entitled “The Effect of the Green Marketing Mix on Brand Equity and Customer Purchase Intention through Corporate Social Responsibility”. He earned his B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering-Control from Mazandaran. His research and academic expertise encompasses Business Policy and Strategy, Strategic Management, Marketing, and Branding. He has published numerous research articles in reputable national and international academic journals. He also serves as a member of scientific committees and a peer reviewer for reputable national and international academic journals and is actively involved in the authorship and peer review of specialized books and the evaluation and review of research projects in the field of business.

Abstract

One of the new issues of organizations is to pay attention to the speed and large volume of information, as well as the advancement of technology and the proper use of existing equipment. In other words, the main challenge is how organizations can best use policy-making in the development of electronic platforms and information systems as influential factors in the strategy of agility and development. Estimating the performance of organizations from the perspective of information technology, while paying attention to these goals, provides managers with the opportunity to effectively spend on information technology on the amount of work of the organization. The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of policy-making on information systems capabilities and the direction of investment in information technology on the development of electronic platforms and organizational agility through the mediation of internal marketing of employees of Kaleh Mazandaran Company. In terms of its applied purpose, this research is descriptive and field-based in nature. The statistical population of this research was 425 employees of Kaleh Mazandaran Company, and according to the Krejci and Morgan table, the sample size of this research was determined to be 202 people. The simple random sampling method was used. Spss and Lisrel software were used to analyze the data. The results showed that there is a significant effect between information systems policy and investment orientation in information technology on the development of electronic platforms and organizational agility through the mediation of internal marketing. By using and strengthening information technology capabilities, organizational agility can be increased and organizational performance can be improved.
