چکیده مقاله

Multiple sclerosis (MS) or MS is a chronic autoimmune disease of the central nervous system in which inflammation, demyelination, and axonal loss occur early in the disease (Stacey & Sichui, 2019) and can recur. Or progressive and reduced brain volume are revealed, and both can cause nerve cell damage and therefore physical disability (1). People with MS have many problems with walking. Recently, a systematic review of spatio-temporal, kinematic, kinetic, or electromyographic parameters of gait in people with MS was performed using three-dimensional gait analysis systems. According to this study, the speed and length of the step is reduced in people with MS. On the other hand, hip extensions are usually reduced during the sedentary phase of walking, knee flexion during the swinging phase, dorsiflexion of the ankle in the initial contact or contact of the foot with the ground, plantar flexion of the ankle in the pre-oscillation phase. . Thigh extensor torque and ankle strength also decrease during the sedentary phase in people with MS (2).
