Poincare map on Degenerate centers

Abstract

We consider the differential homogeneous polynomial system of order five. We provide sufficient conditions such that the origin is a degenerate center and show that with a special perturbation, this degenerate center is a limit of a hyperbolic saddle and limit of a linear center (focus).
