چکیده مقاله
This paper presents an adaptive state-feedback controller for a bridgeless boost power factor
correction (PFC) converter. The controller features a compact structure with minimal tuning
effort and low computational demand, making it suitable for real-time digital and industrial
applications. The adaptation mechanism is derived from the Lyapunov stability theorem, ensuring
global asymptotic stability and robustness against parameter uncertainties and unmodeled dis-
turbances. The current control of PFC is designed using a simplified state-space model in which
the inductor current is treated as the system state. This model-based approach enables accurate
current tracking without steady-state error while maintaining fast dynamic response. The
discrete-time controller was implemented on a low-cost STM32 microcontroller to verify its
practicality. Experimental results demonstrate that the adaptive Lyapunov-based controller
achieves nearly unity power factor and low total harmonic distortion, confirming its effectiveness
and suitability for single-phase PFC applications.
