چکیده مقاله

This paper proposes a robust method for voltage control of an island Microgrid. An island microgrid is a localized group of electricity sources and sinks (loads) that typically operates disconnected from the traditional centralized grid (macrogrid), and maintains operation autonomously as physical and/or economic conditions dictate. Because of the uncertainties due to the meteorological factors and also load variations and disturbances, the adoption of a modern and robust control methodology becomes necessary. The high robustness of sliding mode control against uncertainties and external disturbances makes it suitable as a solution for the expressed problem. Terminal sliding mode controller which is another class of SMC is used in this paper, that apart from its robustness property in front of significant uncertainty ensure that the system states arrive at the equilibrium point in a finite time. Simulation results show the effectiveness of TSM controller under different unmodelled loads and in the presence of external disturbances. Also, the proposed controller has a better performance in comparison with SMC and PI controllers and complies with the IEEE recommendations.
