Abstract

Casting, despite its many thousand years of usage in the metal forming industry, is still used as one of the most widely used, simplest, and cheapest methods of production of metal materials. Some metal products which are produced by other methods, such as forging and machining, can be produced with casting methods such as Investment Casting. In this method, the minimum need for post-processing is needed. Also, the production of some parts, such as ship and boat impellers, which have reverse angles and high complexity, is done by the Investment Casting method which is much simpler and cheaper than other methods. In addition, the production of parts such as decorative sculptures can be justified and possible by Investment Casting. Therefore, in this research, an attempt has been made to produce parts with very small dimensions and sizes and high surface quality, with the least casting defects and without the need for post-processing processes, using the investment casting method. Finally, the parts were produced and supplied with a very desirable quality according to the market needs.
